If yes then this post will help to enable this option.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mahenderpal.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/10\/mailboxdisable.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1341 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/mahenderpal.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/10\/mailboxdisable.png?w=300\" alt=\"mailboxdisable\" width=\"300\" height=\"61\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Allow to use Credentials for Email Processing<\/strong>&#8221; option under mailbox in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 allows us to store credentials to access email services, if we are using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 on-premise, we need to configure IFD to enable this options, but if you don\u2019t want to configure IFD we have following\u00a0workarounds to enable it.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>By Enabling https binding\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>By Using registry key<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In this post we will discuss the first option. We need a SSL certificate to bind with CRM\u00a0website. As\u00a0we are using our demo VPC, we have created a wild card certificate. Use\u00a0following procedure to bind SSL certificate and configure HTTPS\u00a0binding to the\u00a0CRM\u00a0website.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Create a SSL certificate. (Please refer our <a href=\"http:\/\/mahenderpal.wordpress.com\/2014\/08\/29\/step-by-step-creating-wildcard-certificate\/\">earlier post<\/a> to create wild card certificate.)<\/li>\n<li>Run\u00a0<strong>IIS Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Microsoft Dynamics CRM<\/strong> website.<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Bindings<\/strong>\u2026 under <strong>Action<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Add<\/strong> under <strong>Site Binding dialog<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>https<\/strong> from <strong>Type<\/strong> dropdown.<a href=\"https:\/\/mahenderpal.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/10\/binding.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1342 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/mahenderpal.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/10\/binding.png?w=300\" alt=\"binding\" width=\"300\" height=\"175\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Select your <strong>SSL<\/strong> certification under <strong>SSL<\/strong> certificate dropdown and keep other setting as default.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Ok<\/strong> and <strong>Close<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to <strong>Microsoft Dynamics CRM Deployment Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Microsoft Dynamics CRM<\/strong> and select <strong>Properties<\/strong> under <strong>Actions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select Web Address table and click on <strong>HTTPS<\/strong> binding type.<\/li>\n<li>Change port with the port that we used in https binding under Step 7 (443 in our case) in all services.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Ok<\/strong>\u00a0to close and do <strong>IISRESET<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Now navigate to the mailbox record in CRM, you should get &#8220;<strong>Allow to use Credentials for Email Processing&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong>enabled.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mahenderpal.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/10\/users.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1343 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/mahenderpal.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/10\/users.png?w=300\" alt=\"users\" width=\"300\" height=\"29\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"http:\/\/himbap.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">HIMBAP<\/a>\u00a0| Need any help in MS CRM 2013\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.himbap.com\/contactus.aspx\">Contact US !!<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you trying to update mailbox record in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 on-premise and getting &#8220;Allow to use Credentials for Email Processing&#8221;\u00a0field grayed out like the following ??
