You can see all of your connected record.<\/p>\n
But what about getting list of your connection directly from left navigation from MS CRM home page that will be great right ? we can easily create link in left navigation are to show view in MS CRM 2011.<\/p>\n
So what we need to get that list :<\/p>\n
- \n
- Need to create Custom view to display connected entity record with you.<\/li>\n
- Need to get GUID of that view.<\/li>\n
- Modify site map to add\u00a0new sub\u00a0area item.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Here is step by step instruction<\/p>\n
Create a Custom View to Show connected records and get View ID<\/strong><\/p>\n
- \n
- Create a new Solution and add connection entity in your solution.<\/li>\n
- Navigation to Views under connection entity and select New.<\/li>\n
- Enter \u201cMy Connection\u201d under name field and click Ok.<\/li>\n
- Click on \u201cEdit filter criteria\u201d under common tasks.<\/li>\n
- Add filter criteria like below and click Ok.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- Click on \u201cAdd columns\u201d to add required colums (make sure to add Connected From field).<\/li>\n
- Press F11 to get view URL.<\/li>\n
- Copy View ID from last, like below<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

- Set this view as Default from more actions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Now we have created a view and fetched it\u2019s guid, so let\u2019s modify our site map.<\/p>\n
You can customize site map manually or customize using wonderful tool Sitemap Editor. <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
I have used sitemap editor here, first you need to connect to your organization using sitemap editor once you are connected Click on \u201cLoad SiteMap\u201d button to load default sitemap from your CRM.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s say we want to create sub area item under My work, follow below steps to create new sub area<\/p>\n

- Navigation to Site Map->Area(Workplace)->Group(MyWork).<\/li>\n
- Right click on Group(myWork) and select Add SubArea.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
